for a one-year post-doctoral forensic psychology resident fellowship,
beginning September 1, 2017. The
training focuses primarily on work
with an adult forensic population
and includes seminars covering a
broad range of topics within forensic
psychology as well as review of landmark case law, supervised research
on issues in mental health law, and
training in expert witness testimony.
Rotation sites include: forensic
inpatient units (Bridgewater State
Hospital and Worcester Recov-
ery Center and Hospital) and court
clinics. Applicants must have com-
pleted all requirements for a PhD/

be familiar with Trauma Informed
Care ( TIC) and prepared to work
in a TIC environment. CMMHC

POS TDOC TORAL FELLO WSHIP: Mayo
Clinic: Medical Psychology Fel-
lowship Program—APA-accred-
ited in the specialty practice areas
of clinical child psychology, clini-
cal health psychology, and clinical
neuropsychology. The Depart-
ment of Psychiatry and Psychology,
Mayo Clinic Rochester, is accept-
ing applications for our APA-ac-
credited two-year specialty practice
programs. Applicants apply to one
of our three programs. Fellow-
ship positions are available for July
1, 2017. Start dates are flexible.
The fellowship prepares doctor-
al-level clinical or counseling psy-
chologists from APA-accredited
graduate programs and internships
for careers in academic health sci-
ence centers. Must have graduated
from an APA-accredited program
and internship. The Medical Psy-
chology Fellow’s experience in each
specialty practice area combines
clinical, educational and research
activities. Fellows select research
mentors and have 30% protected
research time. Educational oppor-
tunities are tailored and include
weekly departmental grand rounds,
case conferences, journal club, and
didactic seminars. Fellows also
receive funding for attendance and/
or presenting at national confer-
ences. Upon completion of the pro-
gram, fellows are eligible for board
certification through the Ameri-
can Board of Professional Psychol-
ogy. Clinical Child Psychology:
The Clinical Child fellowship
includes advanced clinical training,
education, and research activities
with opportunities for additional
specialization in areas of interest
within clinical child and/or pedi-
atric psychology. Fellows choose
their rotations and length of rota-
tion based on their own interests/
career goals. They are required to
spend at least one month in a day
treatment program (pain rehabili-
tation or mood disorders), consul-
tation/liaison inpatient service, and
assessment clinic. The remainder of
the fellowship includes additional
experience in the rotations above
along with clinical opportunities
in a variety of multidisciplinary
outpatient clinics (e.g., anxiety,
ADHD, autonomic dysfunction,
behavior medicine, craniofacial
disorders, LD, mood disorders,
obesity/weight management/bar-
iatric surgery, pain, primary care,
and traumatic brain injury).
Fellows maintain an active out-
patient therapy caseload and have
opportunities to facilitate a variety
of group-based interventions.
