TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR: Gettysburg College

Psychology at the assistant professor level beginning August 2014.
Candidates for the position should
have a Ph.D. in an area of experimental psychology with an active
research program that focuses on
cultural issues or that specifically studies traditionally underrepresented groups. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and
advise students in our rigorous undergraduate program, which has a
strong empirical emphasis, to supervise undergraduate research, and
to maintain an active research program. Course responsibilities include: both an introductory level
course and an upper level laboratory course in cultural psychology or a
closely related area. Other teaching
responsibilities could include: general psychology, statistics, experimental methods, and contributing
to our interdisciplinary offerings.
