APA recognizes the responsibility of psychologists to continue
their educational and professional development, building upon the
foundations of a completed doctoral program in psychology. The
Continuing Education Sponsor Approval System and the Continuing Education Committee work together to establish standards and
criteria for those organizations wishing to offer continuing education for psychologists and to maintain the highest level of quality
in those programs.
