SUNY FREDONIA, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, is seeking
applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in
Cognitive Psychology, starting in Fall 2012. Ph.D. by September 1, 2012 is
required. The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate
level, contribute to curriculum development and refinement, provide
academic advisement to students, participate in committees, and provide
service to the department, college, university, and profession. Possible
teaching responsibilities include courses in Cognitive Psychology,
Introduction to Psychology, Cognitive Development, Psychology of
Language, Perception, and Research Methods. Applicants must be able to
demonstrate a well-developed research program that can involve
